How does Athlete One support college recruiting?
College coaches use Athlete One to review player information, plan which games to attend, take notes, and manage their recruiting lists. For teams and players, keeping rosters and profiles current helps coaches identify players and review accurate academic and athletic information.
What does my team need to complete?
Your team should:
Set up or access its Athlete One team account.
Add coaches and team administrators.
Register to the appropriate league or event.
Add players to the team.
Build the league or event roster.
Encourage players to activate their accounts and update their profiles.
Getting Started
Create or access your team account: Check whether your team already exists before creating a new one. If it does, ask an existing team administrator to grant you access.
How to create an account or find out if I already have an existing account?- If your team already exists, check and edit the team name. THIS MUST MATCH THE NAME REGISTERED TO THE EVENT IN GOTSPORT.
How to add a team Add your staff: Add your head coach, assistant coaches, and team administrators so the appropriate staff can access and manage the team.
Register to the appropriate league: From your team account, open Tournaments/Leagues, locate the league, and select Register.
GA teams: Register to Girls Academy 2026/27
Aspire teams: Register to ASPIRE 2026/27
How to register to an event/league
Add your players: Add each player to your team using accurate information and the player’s own email address.
Create your league or event roster: Select the players participating and enter their jersey numbers. Adding a player to your team does not automatically add them to the event roster.
If you have already activated your account but cannot remember your password, use Forgot Password.
If you cannot reach the existing administrator, contact Athlete One Support for assistance.
Adding Players and Activating Accounts
How do I add players to my team?
Log in and select My Account → Team Account → your team → Team Details → First Team Players.
Select New Player, choose the appropriate search or add option, complete the required information, and save. Use the search options to locate an existing player account when available.
Each email address can be associated with only one account.
What if a player’s email address is already in use?
The email address is already associated with another Athlete One account.
First, check whether the player already has an account. If the email is attached to the wrong account or you cannot resolve the issue, contact Athlete One Support at cs@athleteone.com for assistance.
A team administrator can open the player’s record and select Resend Activation Link near the player’s photo. Players can also request the link through the “Not sure if you have an account” option on the login page. If they continue to not receive the link, have them contact support to assist with accessing their account.
How to resend activation links to players and staff
An active account means the player has set a password and logged in. If the account is inactive, you will see the option to resend the activation link.
Player Profiles and Account Management
An optional paid player upgrade provides additional features. A player does not need to purchase the upgrade simply to be included on your team’s recruiting roster.
Encourage players to review and update:
Player photo
GPA
High school
Position
Graduation year
Keeping these details current gives college coaches more useful information when reviewing the player.
Some fields may become locked after the player activates their account or after player cards are issued. If a field is unavailable, the player may need to update it from their account or contact Support.
Recruiting tools can help players research colleges, access coach contact information, and review recruiting activity and analytics. Athlete One’s player materials describe coach connections, college views and analytics, and email tools for inviting coaches to upcoming games.
The upgrade adds tools beyond the basic player profile; it does not guarantee recruitment or a college offer.

College Brochures and Coach Attendance
Yes. Athlete One includes a College Pamphlet Builder to create a team recruiting brochure.
From your team account, open College Center → Build College Pamphlet. Choose players by game or individually, select a template, complete the staff details, and download the pamphlet.
For an event-specific brochure, open the event under Tournaments/Leagues and select College Pamphlet Builder. Players must be rostered to the event before their information appears on that brochure.
The documented web workflow is Team Account → College Center → College Attendance. Select the league or event, choose Add Attendance, select the game, enter the college information, and save.
Does a flagged game mean a college coach attended?
